East Brentwood Presbyterian Church
Faith, Family and Friends

Our History

In 1986 the Presbytery of Middle Tennessee recognized the need for a new church in the eastern section of Brentwood. New church development data emphasized the need for a neighborhood-oriented church focused on ministry to families with focus on education. East Brentwood Presbyterian Church (EBPC) began in 1988 with a core of four families. The first worship service was held at the Brentwood YMCA in July 1988. The church was chartered October 26, 1989. In 1992, construction of the present building at 9000 Concord Road was completed.

East Brentwood Presbyterian Church currently has 321 members, along with several distinct ministries:  Worship,
Fellowship, Congregational Care, Service and Outreach, Christian Education, Communications, Personnel, and Finance and Facilities.  There are active and lively children, youth, and music programs.  East Brentwood 's preschool is certificated and led by Sheri Vosel and her team of outstanding teachers. Domestic mission trips are planned and conducted almost every year, combined with local service projects designed to strengthen and nurture spiritual development by helping others. Members are encouraged to become as involved with church activities as they wish.  In our spiritual journey, we come together as a living community of faith, family, and friends.  Come and see.
