The Personnel and Policy Ministry Area exists to support the staff of East Brentwood Presbyterian Church, both ordained and non-ordained, and to serve along with the Head of Staff in the human resource function for the church. This Ministry Area ensures that staff evaluations are completed annually, reviews compensation of all staff annually, and approves all hiring and terminations on behalf of the church. The Policy function of the Ministry Area was added in 2010 to emphasize the need for consistent policy manuals to guide both staff and church leadership in efficient and consistent application of guidelines for church management. The Ministry Area rebuilt the Personnel Manual for employees in 2009 and intends to revisit and enhance the Policy Manual in full in 2011.
