Greetings from Preschool!

This time last year we incorporated something different into our chapel time.  Our chapel lead,  Eleanor Richardson, wanted to have the children participate in "group worship" once a month.  This gives the children an opportunity to "attend" a church service.  In this modified service the children are called to worship, they hear the message, they sing songs of praise and give an offering.  Then they receive their blessings and depart.  Both the children and the teachers have enjoyed this change in the chapel routine.

 This has turned into a wonderful event once a month. They have collected socks, toys, underwear, as well as treats for our soldiers and this month, pet food for Happy Tales. You should see the faces of these little children when they come in to school with their offerings. They are so pleased with themselves!  And heaven forbid if they (or mom) has forgotten their offering.  They have to make a special trip back to school with their goods.  Little children really do remind us what giving is all about.

Our group worship schedule is Jan. 19-20, Feb. 16-17, March 9-10, and April 13-14.  If you want a really uplifting experience, stop by at 9:30 one of these mornings and see for yourself.
